The youth of Republic of Korea, from a nation known for its cultural influence, break stereotypes and become Global Ubuntu Ambassadors who share the real Africa with the world.
Through 4-week online mission, you will have the chance to use your voice to spotlight Africa’s culture, history, and limitless potential — not just as a participant, but as a changemaker in global perception.
🌍 4 Weeks, 4 Missions: Selected ambassadors will complete a series of four weekly online missions designed to build global awareness and inspire action.
Step 1. Turning Indifference into Interest
Share your impressions of the launch ceremony on your personal social media,
and connect with international friends through global penpal websites and apps
to examine their perceptions of Africa.
Step 2. Turning Interest into Action
Create digital content that highlights the hidden history and culture shared between Korea and Africa, and promote it globally.
You will also investigate and analyze biases and inaccuracies found in various media such as textbooks, encyclopedias, OTT platforms, and social media.
Step 3. Turning Action into Movement
Ambassadors will propose and evaluate national policies aimed at improving perceptions of Africa.
Step 4. The Great Mission
Plan and carry out global awareness campaigns and challenges to promote an accurate understanding of Africa.
